RM Bridge Modeler Help

Projects

RM Bridge Modeler projects consist of 3 binary files:

  • GPDATA0.gp9
  • GPDATA1.gp9
  • GPDATA2.gp9

A project has to be selected by choosing a work space (folder or directory).

SettingDescription
Project directory

The edit box contains the selected project directory. It can be changed by

The common Windows Dialog window appears by clicking the arrow symbol. The file filter (*.gp9) needs not to be changed. The user only needs to select or to create the wanted project directory.

Confirming the choice by OK the program will start in the selected directory either by opening the existing data base or by initializing a new project. If this is not possible to do, the input window comes up again.

Directory list

These lists shows the 20 previous project directories to allow a quicker project selection. Clicking the appropriate line puts the selected project directory into the edit box.

Start New Project

A new project can be started in an empty directory (directory without *.gp9- files) or in an already occupied one.

Note: If this directory contains *.gp9 files from a previous session the program will overwrite them and all data is lost. For safety reason a confirmation is requested before really doing this.
Continue Project

A project can be continued if all three *.gp9 files are existing in the selected project directory. The corresponding option is preselected if these files are found in the directory.
